The Cook Labor Government will deliver our $15 million election commitment to grow before and after school care on school sites. This will deliver more places, better infrastructure, and stronger support for local families.
The Department of Communities advises:
(a) There were 304 out of school care services located on a government school site operational as of 28 June 2024.
(b) There were 312 out of school care services located on a government school site operational as of 28 June 2025.
(c) There was approximately a maximum of 18,252 places available for the 303 out of school services located on a government school site as of 12 July 2024.
(d) There was approximately a maximum of 19,337 places available for the 313 out of school care services located on a government school site as of 12 July 2025.
