I refer to the moving of a boundary fence on lot 2928 Scott Road, Lake Jasper five metres into the land previously managed by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), and I ask: (a) was the original boundary fence in the wrong place and not on the actual boundary; (b) if yes to (a), is the new fence on the actual boundary; (c) what approvals were sought to move the fence; (d) what approvals were given to move the fence; and (e) if the new fence is not on the actual boundary, what action will be taken by DBCA?

(a) – (e) On 18 September 2019, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) provided approval to the owner of Lot 2928 to undertake 500 metres of fence line clearing along the private property boundary. DBCA is not aware of an incorrect alignment of the fence line of Lot 2928.
