As the acting Minister for
Emergency Services, I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises the following.
(1) Five urban pumps were delivered
by Christmas 2022.
(2)–(4) When
the technical issue was identified, all available resources were redirected
from the urban pump replacement program to
isolate and resolve the technical issue. On 13 March 2023, a solution was
implemented to rectify the situation. An extensive external and internal
testing program has now commenced.
