LIVE EXPORT
703. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Minister for Agriculture and
Food:
I refer to the minister's
support for the continuation of the live sheep export industry as previously
stated in this place. Has the minister met
with representatives of the live sheep supply chain and affected producers and
given them any undertaking that she is working in Western Australia's
interests to change the federal government's plans?

AnswerView source ↗

Yes. I can inform the house that I have
met with many sheep producers and members of the supply chain. I have actually
had meetings with many of the people in the public gallery today. I do not have
my diary in front of me, and obviously this is a question without notice, so I cannot
provide full details, but I have had over 20 industry meetings with
representatives of the live sheep export industry on this matter.
