the Minister for Education:
I refer to records of school
attendance.
(1) Is section 28
of the School Education Act 1999 being complied with by principals employed in
the state education system?
(2) How frequently are these
attendance records audited and assessed, and by whom?

some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) Each year
in term 3, the Department of Education undertakes an attendance verification
process whereby principals verify that their semester 1 attendance data is true
and correct.
