I thank the member for some notice of this question and I answer it on behalf of the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Tourism. (1) In terms of the minister’s portfolio, no. (2) Not applicable. (3) The Western Australian Tourism Commission, in consultation with the Australian Tourist Commission, assessed this event and it was jointly decided that, to gain any promotional mileage, there were more effective and measurable ways to undertake expenditure in the United Kingdom to drive visitation to Western Australia.
