646. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
Leader of the House representing the Minister for Finance:
I refer to the Premier's media statement of 20 May
2015 in relation to the Sultan of Johor purchasing land on the site of the
former Sunset Hospital.
(1) Is this purchase subject to Foreign Investment Review
Board approval?
(2) If yes to (1), has this been sought?
(3) If approval has been given by the FIRB —
(a) when was this approval
granted; and
(b) what time frame has been set
by which construction on the site must commence?
