I refer to the Pyrton site in Eden Hill. (1) Is the minister aware of the recent and extensive vandalism and theft of copper pipes and other fittings from some of the former hostel buildings located on the site; and, if not, why not? (2) Is it intended that those buildings that are severely damaged as a result of the vandalism set out in (1) will be pulled down; if yes, when; and, if not, why not? (3) When was the last time that a site visit was undertaken by an officer of the minister’s department? (4) Is the minister or her department aware of community concerns regarding the level of asbestos scattered around the site; and, if yes, what is the department doing about this?
