SHARK DRUM LINE PROGRAM — TREASURY
APPROPRIATION
83. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Minister for Fisheries:
In an earlier answer to a question today from Hon Rick Mazza, the minister informed the
house that the shark mitigation drum line initiative is being funded by a
separate appropriation from Treasury. This is at odds with previous statements
that this initiative was to be funded internally.
(1) How much is the appropriation?
(2) If it has been paid to Fisheries already, when was it
paid?
(3) If it is
still to be provided to Fisheries, when will it be provided to Fisheries?
