(1) There were 536
eligibility decisions made for children with a possible intellectual disability, in the 0 - 18 year age group, from 1 January to 31 December 2009
.

316 children, in the age group 0 - 6 years, [including those children vulnerable to intellectual disability] met the Commission's eligibility criteria for intellectual disability, from 1 January to 31 December 2009
.
112 children, in the age group six - 18 years, met the Commission's eligibility criteria for a diagnosis of intellectual disability, from 1 January to 31 December 2009.
Note: this data includes assessments conducted by the Commission, and assessments completed by external assessors who provided their reports with the referral information to the Commission.

108 children in the age group 0 - 18 years, did not meet the Commission's eligibility criteria for the period 1 January to 31 December 2009.
(4) This information is not available through electronic reporting. A search through individual records of the 118 children deemed not eligible would be required.
