Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(a - b) The practicalities and costs of transferring the management and distribution of the Emergency Services Levy from the Fire and Emergency Services Authority are still being assessed but it is unlikely that this transfer will occur. The existing processes by which the proceeds of the Levy are distributed are being reviewed as suggested by Mr Keelty at page 178 of his Report.
