I refer to the recent selection of Matilda Bay as the location for a new ferry terminal as part of the METRONET Swan Ferry Service Expansion, and seek further information concerning the assessment and impact of this decision across several areas of concern, and I ask : (a) Please provide the full on-water evaluation for each assessed terminal location, including: (i) How the terminal fits within its immediate surrounds; (ii) Land user group impact analysis, including informal use of the reserve and water by individuals, families, and community groups; and (iii) Water user group impact analysis, including input regarding the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club, Royal Perth Yacht Club, Sailability, rowing, and SUP users; (b) Please provide details of on-water traffic flows and any traffic flow modelling that has been conducted for the assessed sites; (c) Will there be changes in on-water speed limits as a result of the ferry terminal? If so, what will the changes be; (d) Has the assessed wash/wake impact to water users been verified or consulted upon with affected user groups; (e) Did an independent risk assessor speak directly with any of the on-water clubs regarding the proposal for the new terminal location? If not, why not; and (f) Were details contained in the Multi Criteria Assessment provided to impacted user groups for review, to check assumptions and verify this information before the location was finalised?
