TAXIS —
PLATE UPGRADE PURCHASES
540. Ms R. SAFFIOTI to the
Minister for Transport:
I have a supplementary question. I again ask: How much was
paid by those taxidrivers under the Barnett government when they upgraded their
plates? Does the minister accept that his comments have reduced the value of
the plates and does he stand by his comments that no compensation will be paid?

I could repeat the same response.
Ms R. Saffioti :
How much was paid?
Mr D.C. NALDER : I
explained what was said yesterday in front of the media.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER :
Minister, the question was specific; there were three parts. If you want to add
anything more, add something more, otherwise I cannot tell you how to answer
the question.
Mr D.C. NALDER : I
will not add anything more, thank you, Mr Speaker.
