Definition:
management initiated redundancy or retirement (MIR) is a long-standing Government policy that involves a mutually negotiated agreement between an employer and employee to bring a contract of employment to an end.
Government agencies in the Premier's portfolio advise:
Department of the Premier and Cabinet; Acting Commissioner of the Public Sector Standards; Department of State Development; Public Sector Commissioner; Lotterywest; Gold Corporation - based on the above mentioned definition:
(a) Nil
(b-d) Not applicable
Treasurer (effective 28 April 2010):
Western Australian Treasury Corporation; Insurance Commission of WA; Office of the Auditor General; Government Employees Superannuation Board

(d) All positions have been abolished with the exception of 4 positions
