1158. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the minister representing the
Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to mental health support in
youth detention.
(1) How many
unfulfilled referrals to youth justice psychological services have there been
amongst children at Banksia Hill Detention Centre since the second juvenile
death in custody?
(2) How many children in detention
are currently on the at-risk management system?
(3) What percentage of the total
youth justice population do those in (2) represent?

(1) As the honourable member has referenced a death in
custody for which a coronial inquest will be conducted, it is not
appropriate to provide a response at this time.
