209. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the width of Tonkin
Highway, between Leach Highway and Morley Drive, after the currently funded NorthLink WA project is complete.
(1) Will any sections be two lanes
each way?
(2) If yes to (1), what sections and
what is the length of each section?
(3) How many additional
heavy vehicles, compared with now, is it estimated will use Tonkin Highway
after the entire NorthLink project is completed?

notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) The sections
are the on/off ramps north of Guildford Road Bridge to Guildford Road; the
Great Eastern Highway on/off ramps on the western side of Great Eastern Highway
Bridge to Great Eastern Highway on/off ramps on the eastern side of Great
Eastern Highway Bridge; and the Airport Drive on/off ramps to Leach Highway
Bridge over Tonkin Highway.
(3) The estimate is 6 000.
