I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) It began on 27 April 2016.
(2) The
investigation is continuing and has appropriate priority. I am not able to say
when it will be completed.
(3) WorkSafe does
not routinely prepare reports on the outcome of its investigations. A brief is
prepared if prosecution action is contemplated and appropriate information
becomes public as such a prosecution proceeds through the courts.
(4) All alleged
breaches of the occupational safety and health laws are a matter of concern.
WorkSafe takes action commensurate with the nature of the breach and in
accordance with its publicly available enforcement and prosecution policies.
