(a) No amendments have been made to the legislation or policy requirements. The Department of Education is undertaking work to improve clarity and consistency of existing processes, practices and experiences in relation to home education.
(b)-(c) The Department has consulted extensively with peak bodies such as Home Education Australia and Home Education WA, representing the home education community, as well as all education regional offices, including home education moderators, throughout 2025.
