Services seeking development approval from the Shire of Wyndham–East
Kimberley.

did the Department of Justice decide to grant special approval for the bail
house to operate at the new location?
(2) Was the
Minister for Corrective Services made aware of this decision?

February 2019, correspondence was sent from the Department of Justice to the
Shire of Wyndham–East Kimberley requesting consideration of a public
works exemption under section 6(1) of the Western Australian Planning and
Development Act 2005.
(2) Yes.
(3) It was on 12
March 2019.
(4) The minister
is aware of some community concerns.
