EDWARD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL — PREGNANCY TERMINATION
264. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to a letter from the acting director general of the
Department of Health to the State Coroner of Western Australia sent on or
around 14 August 2012, regarding a review by King Edward Memorial Hospital of
all cases of termination of pregnancy greater than 20 weeks.
(1) Will the minister table a copy of that letter?
(2) If yes to (1), when?
(3) If no to (1), why not?

(3) No letter
was sent to the coroner on or around 14 August 2012. The coroner had access to
the report prepared for the Standing Committee on Environment and Public
Affairs dated 21 September 2011.
