YEAR 12
STUDENTS — AUSTRALIAN TERTIARY ADMISSION RANK
510. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Minister for Education:
Will the minister table for each public secondary school —
(a) the
percentage of year 12 students who achieved an Australian tertiary admission
rank in 2014; and
(b) the percentage of year 12
students who are enrolled in ATAR courses in 2015?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(a) Yes, I
have the information in tabular form and I will table that information; it is
quite extensive.
(b) Public
school enrolment data for year 12 students studying stage 2 and/or stage 3
Western Australian Certificate of Education examination courses is still being
provided to the School Curriculum and Standards Authority by individual
schools. I am advised by the authority that this data will be available after
15 June 2015. This is the same process undertaken each year to allow for the
change in course enrolments by year 12 students, because they fluctuate; at the
end of term 1, students often change courses.
