(1) There are a number of structured training programs delivered by the Broome Regional Prison Education Centre. These training programs include nationally accredited vocational courses. Training packages are available to male and female offenders, and they include:
· Certificate I in Building and Construction;
· Certificate I in Hospitality;
· Senior First Aid;
· Construction and Safety Awareness Training - Blue Card;
· Certificate I in General Education for Adults;
· Certificate I in Gaining Access to Employment - Keep Your Culture Keep Your Job;
· Certificate I in Horticulture;
· Certificate I in Information Technology I and II;
· Certificate I Asset Maintenance;
· Certificate II in Visual Art and Contemporary Craft / Certificate II in Indigenous/Torres Strait Islander Cultural Art;
· Certificate I in Music Industry

Currently, the following structured training programs are available at the existing Wyndham Work Camp:
· Certificate I in Gaining Access To Employment;
· Certificate I in Rural Operations- Fencing;
· Certificate I and II in Building and Construction;
· Certificate II in Automotive Vehicle Servicing.
The Education and Vocational Training Unit has carried out an analysis of the State Training Profile to assess and plan for future training programs at Wyndham Work Camp.Proposed future training programs for the work camp will be linked to labour market skills shortages for the Kimberley region and through consultation with the local Indigenous communities.
