(1) No.
(2) It is anticipated that the majority of pastoral leases will be renewed on 1 July 2015.
Where a lease is renewed, the pastoral lessee will continue to be responsible for controlling feral animals, including goats.
Where a pastoral lease is not renewed it will become unallocated Crown land on 1 July 2015. In these cases control of feral animals, including goats, will be the responsibility of the Department of Parks and Wildlife.
