INQUIRY REPORT
107. Hon MATT BENSON-LIDHOLM to the minister representing
the Minister for Education:
I refer to the recently released performance inquiry report
into Kalbarri District High School.
(1) In each of
the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and to date in 2012, what is the total number
of formal complaints received by the midwest education regional office, the
head office of the Department of Education and the Minister for Education in
relation to the performance and behaviour of the school's administration
staff, principal and deputy principal?
(2) Given that
the expert review group inquired into and reported on the relations between
Kalbarri District High School and the local community, by what timeframe is the
school expected to develop strategies for improved community relations?

(1) Assuming
the honourable member is referring to the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and to
date in 2012, please refer to the earlier response to question without notice 48.
(2) The
planning of strategies for improvement are underway following the meeting
between the principal, the regional executive director, and the director of the
expert review group on 13 February 2012. Recommendations for improvement will
be monitored by the midwest regional executive director.
