(a) The relevant network operators (Western Power, Horizon Power, BHP, Rio Tinto, Zenith Energy) inspect utility-scale solar farms and BESS installations connected to their electricity network. Building and Energy has undertaken inspections of the following large-scale solar farms not connected to a network:
·         Parker Point Road, ROTTNEST ISLAND - 13/03/2025
·         Yerramullah Road, BADGINGARRA - 10/06/2024
·         LOT 270 Broome RD, BROOME - 17/08/2024
·         Port Smith RD, LAGRANGE - 20/08/2024
·         2 Cherratta RD, MAITLAND WEYMUL COMMUNITY - 29/09/2022
·         Great Northern Highway, LAGRANGE - 07/05/2022
·         Anna Plains RD, LAGRANGE - 07/05/2022
·         Lot 2 North West Coastal HWY, MEADOW - 10/02/2022
(b) The installations inspected by Building and Energy were issued with an Inspector’s Order for any defects found.
(c) Defects on the Inspector’s Order(s) are required to be rectified within the timeframe stipulated, which is typically 30 days.
