I am advised by the Department of Education as follows:
(1)(a)-(1)(h) The Department of Education does not use a methodology based on the annual average FTE cost for each employment category when it calculates the Employee Benefits component of the State Budget Papers.
(1)(i) The Department of Education has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Health for the provision of School Nurses. Indexed lump sums payments are made to Health twice a year to pay for this service. The MOU does not refer to a rate per school nurse.
(1)(j) There is no centralised agreement for contracting of occupational therapists to work in schools.
(1)(k) There is no centralised agreement for contracting of speech therapists to work in schools.
(1)(l) There is no centralised agreement for contracting of physiotherapists to work in schools.
