A centralised redeployment system was previously managed by the former Public Sector Management Office. The management of redeployees was devolved to Agencies in a phased approach during the year 2000. The Public Sector Management Division, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, retains the responsibility for the redeployment and redundancy policy framework, maintaining public sector redeployment statistics and assisting agencies with any issues in relation to redeployment and redundancy.
