DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD — LAND —100 BOUGAINVILLEA
AVENUE, FORRESTFIELD
1349. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the minister
representing the Minister for Lands:
I refer to the Department of
Agriculture and Food land at 100 Bougainvillea Avenue, Forrestfield.
(1) While this
land is up for sale, who is responsible for the upkeep of the land, in
particular ensuring that it is fire safe?
(2) Is the land
exempt from local government authority regulations and by-laws in relation to
fire safety precautions; and, if so, why?
(3) Will the
minister undertake to inform whichever minister is currently responsible for
the land, as a matter of urgency, of the fire safety issues and urge them to
take action; and, if not, why not?
