I draw the minister’s attention to a point raised at the Corruption and Crime Commission inquiry into the Mallard affair, which indicated that state funding was provided to finance an ABC television documentary concerning Andrew Mallard and his supporters. (1) Is it correct that the state government provided funding for the documentary; and, if so, why? (2) If so, will the minister provide details on how much funding was provided, when and through which agency? (3) Was the minister required to approve the funding?
