(2) In August of this year the Government will be hosting a Community Drug Summit. This Summit will provide a forum for health professionals, community groups and members of the public to discuss drug issues and the full range of strategies needed in response to the issues. Information gathered at this Summit will help assess community needs and inform ongoing drug strategy. Safe injecting facilities will be considered at this Summit alongside numerous other strategies.
