(1) What is the nature of the
improvements being undertaken?
(2) What is the amount of funding
that has been allocated to the upgrade?

project involves a new licensing and registry system for firearms licensing, which
will include other police licensing functions in the future. It is not an
upgrade of the existing system.
(2) The amount is $8.9 million.
