I refer to the Minister's advice on the 19 June 2012 regarding Euro population management (question on notice No. 5570, answer (4)), and I ask —
(1) What Commonwealth regulatory requirements apply to the monitoring of populations of Euro kangaroos which are subject to non-commercial hunting when there is no management plan submitted for approval to the Commonwealth Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities?
(2) What statutory requirements apply to non-commercial shooting of kangaroos regarding the Commonwealth
Environment and Protection Biodiversity Act 1999

(1-2) The Commonwealth Government regulates the export of Australian wildlife products and commercial exports are generally not permissible in the absence of a Commonwealth-approved management plan.  There are no requirements applicable to the non-commercial taking of euros, or associated population monitoring, under the
