In relation to the recent announcement of collaboration between the State Government and the Grains Research Development Corporation (GRDC) to fund the Australian Export Grains Innovation Centre (AEGIC), I ask:
(a) will the AEGIC facility be built on the same site as the new redeveloped Department of Agriculture and Food headquarters in South Perth; and
(i) if not, where will the new centre be located and will it be built on land owned by the State Government; and
(ii) if the centre is to be located on Government land, what is the cost to the State Government?

(a) Yes, the AEGIC facility will be built on the same site as the new Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia redevelopment.
(i) Not applicable.
(ii) The AEGIC will be located on land which is already owned by the State Government.  There will be no additional cost.
