(a) The Consultation Reference Group (CRG) is an intra-governmental expert reference group established to promote community consultation best practice across government and to provide advice and assistance to agencies undertaking significant consultative projects. Members of the group comprise senior executives from across government portfolios (including regions) that have recognised expertise and experience in public consultation co-ordination at a portfolio policy or strategy level. The terms of reference (currently under review) are attached. [See paper No. ]
