Water:
I refer to Flat
Rocks wind farm.
(1) What is the status of Flat Rocks wind farm?
(2) Is Water Corporation still proceeding with the
project?
(3) If no to (2), what other renewable energy
projects will Water Corp now use to source the 400 megawatts of renewable
energy previously committed for desalination plants?
(4) Will the replacement project be online before
the planned 2030 coal closures?

member for some notice of the question. The following is provided on behalf of
the Minister for Water.
(1) The project is still in the planning phase.
(2) Yes.
(3) Water Corporation is using all its available
mechanisms, including the undertaking a request for information process and
subsequent request for proposal processes to support its renewal energy
requirements.
(4) Water Corporation is on target to meet its
renewable energy requirements by the fourth quarter of 2029.
