I refer to the Wind Energy Manufacturing Co-Investment Program, and I ask: (a) Which ministers have or have had responsibilities relating to this program and for what periods; (b) Excluding co-investments, how much funding did the WA Government provide the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) in 2024-25; (c) Excluding co-investments, how much funding is the WA Government budgeted to provide the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre in 2025-26; (d) Can the Premier provide the AMGC's administration budget for the program; (e) Excluding co-investments and funding to the AMGC, how much did the program cost the WA Government in 2024-25; (f) Excluding co-investments and funding to the AMGC, how much is the program budgeted to cost the WA Government in 2025-26; (g) How many full-time equivalent staff administer the program in the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification; (h) For each co-investment recipient to date, what is the expected return on investment for the WA Government; (i) How many applications have been received, approved and denied for each of the: (i) Market Entry Stream ; and (ii) Market Growth Stream ; (j) How many applications have been received seeking between $30,000 and $250,000 co-investment and under which streams did they apply; and (k) How many applicants have been notified they are unlikely to proceed further before progressing to the Review Committee?

A milestone-based operational allocation of $100,000 to the AMGC has been budgeted until 2026-27 inclusive. The allocation for 2024-25 has been paid.
(e)-(f)
Program support is provided from within departmental resourcing.

(h) The WA Government does not collect revenue through the Wind Energy Manufacturing Co-Investment Program.

Five applications seeking over $250,000 in co-investment have been received for the program under the Market Growth Stream. Three have been approved, one is under consideration, and one was ineligible.
