I refer to the Minister’s answer to my Question On Notice No. 3172, specifically relating to Anglicare and ask: (a) in 2013–2014, what additional ‘cover’ was delivered in the Derby Township, Mowanjum, Pandanus and Looma by Anglicare; (b) in 2013–2014, how many people were assisted by the additional Anglicare ‘cover’ in the Derby Township, Mowanjum, Pandanus and Looma and in what way; (c) in 2013–2014, how many additional staff were employed in ‘covering’ the Derby Township, Mowanjum, Pandanus and Looma; (d) in 2013–2014, how much of the $531,710 funding was allocated to the staff costs including salary, benefits and costs associated with travel and accommodation; and (e) in 2013–2014, what is the number of people that have accessed Anglicare services as a result of the additional funding of $531,710?

(a,c) The additional cover provided by Anglicare WA in the Derby Township, Mowanjum, Pandanus and Looma area consisted of the employment of two staff (1x Community Development/Health Promotion Worker and 1x Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Worker).
(b,e) It is estimated that over 500 people in the Derby Township, Mowanjum, Pandanus and Looma were assisted by the additional cover. Activities that were implemented included postvention support and counselling for those affected by suicide in the community, SEWB camps, healing programs, suicide prevention training, and community/sporting events. During the period the SEWB worker supported 122 individuals and assisted in facilitating 95 events.
(d)  Of the $531,710 in funding provided to Anglicare WA, Anglicare allocated approximately $233,000 to salaries (including on costs): $6,236 to professional development and $36,877 to travel and accommodation.
