I refer to Estimates Committee hearings and in relation to the review into officer discipline/loss of confidence, and ask: (a) Was the Commissioner's office provided with a draft, final or any update on the review: (i) If so, on what date; (b) Has the Commissioner or any staff working on the review had any representations, meetings or communications from any organisation or individual in relation to the review and if so: (i) Who contacted the Commissioner or his staff; (ii) On what dates did (b)(i) occur; and (iii) Did the person or organisation identified in (b)(i) seek for the review to be ceased or delayed in any manner; and (c) Has the Commissioner or his staff ever been solicited by any individual or organisation to cease, delay or obfuscate in any way the review: (i) If so, by whom?

(a) The Commissioner’s office has been provided with ongoing advice and updates on the progress of this matter.
(i) Not applicable.
(b) Yes.
(i) The Department obtained the views of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission, the Community and Public Sector Union/Civil Service Association of WA, the Corruption and Crime Commission, and the WA Prison Officers’ Union.
(ii) January 2018.
(iii) No. However, the effect of the Ministerial Review of the State Industrial Relations System (tabled in Parliament on 11 April 2019) on the statutory review is currently under consideration.
(c) No.
(i) Not applicable.
