(2) The Court Services Division of the Department of Justice has established an eLodgment system by which registered users can lodge documents electronically with the Perth registry of the District Court of Western Australia and some registries of the Magistrates Court of Western Australia. The eLodgment system, which is accessed via the Internet, enables online payment of the associated court fees by either credit card or direct debit. Registered users currently include legal firms and corporate litigants.
