I refer to the Budget Papers, Volume 2, page 645, Asset Investment Program and note there has been no allocation and no allowance in the forward estimates, 2014-15, for an upgrade of the WorkSafe reporting system, and I ask: (a) when will this system be upgraded or replaced to extract and report on accident and incident statistics; (b) what has been put into place to report these important measures in the interim; and (c) how are decisions on focus areas being made without this analysis being available?

(a) As the WorkSafe Information System Environment (WISE) is a case management system for use by WorkSafe, there are no proposals for it to provide accident and incident reports.
(b) & (c) As with other Australian jurisdictions, workers' compensation data is used by WorkSafe to assist in the targeting of WorkSafe's activities.
