A marketing campaign to attract new business to the region will commence in 2002/03 and this will be coupled to a direct approach to businesses that are potentially interested in expanding or relocating to the region. The Peel Development Commission will join with other partners to encourage business expansion and business attraction to the Peel region. The Peel Economic Development Unit in conjunction with the Peel Development Commission has employed a Business Development Manager to assist the expansion of existing Peel businesses and to encourage investment and migration from metropolitan Perth, other parts of Western Australia, Australia and from overseas.
