Hon Samantha Rowe replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following
answer on behalf of the Minister for Transport.(1)–(2) Public Transport Authority staff
from the existing network control centre and CCTV central monitoring room will
soon relocate to the new public transport operations control centre. Combining
these functions into a single control centre and the centre's additional
capacity will mean the PTA can introduce new supporting functions, all of which
will benefit the overall performance of the network and passenger safety.
