I refer to page 86 of the 2017 Annual Report for the Department of Agriculture and Food WA and I ask the Minister will Royalties for Regions continue to fund the Department at this level (i.e. as stated 22% of the Department’s funding is from RfR) and, if not, what funding source will replace it?

The figures quoted above related to page 38 of the former Department of Agriculture and Food WA’s (DAFWA) 2016-17 Final Report (the Report) not page 86 as indicated in the question.
Royalties for Regions (RfR) income for the former DAFWA totalled $46.5 million in 2016-17 as detailed on page 66 of the Report. RfR income was estimated to reduce to $27.5 million by 2019-20 under the former DAFWA. The decline in income reflects the reduction in the number of active RfR funded projects (and/or the total project value) delivered by the former DAFWA.
RfR income is utilised for specific projects/programs as approved by the Government of the day.
Following the amalgamation of the former DAFWA (and other existing agencies) into the new Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), it is no longer relevant to show what level of RfR income the former DAFWA would receive.
However, based on the 2017-18 Mid-year Review, DPIRD will receive RfR income of $193.9 million in 2017-18, reducing to an estimated $93 million in 2020-21. This is subject to change following outcomes of the 2018-19 Budget process
