Western Australian Tourism Commission (a) It is estimated that the Western Australian Tourism Commission has paid less than $5,000 to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry per annum in each of the years from 1992/93 to 1998/99. Payment related to carnets to clear goods through customs, which were used for overseas travel fair participation which was aimed at raising trade awareness of Western Australia as a desirable travel destination.
