The Department of Health has identified 2 suitable sites on the Joondalup Health Campus and preliminary negotiations have commenced with Mayne Finance as the Lessee to have a suitable area surrendered from the Head Lease for the proposed Joondalup Dental Clinic.
In regards to the proposed south metropolitan public dental clinic, a suitable site had been identified at the Koorilla Primary School site in Coolbellup for the clinic, however the City of Cockburn have suggested a more accessible site adjoining their administrative offices, near the Phoenix Park Shopping Centre. Investigation of both options by the Department of Health is proceeding.

Both clinics are scheduled to be operational by late 2003.

On the basis of current data available, approximately 5000 – 6000 patients per year.
