I refer to Auditor General’s report No 7, which was tabled in this House last month. In March 2001, the minister approved development by the Department of Contract and Management Services of a new facility management arrangement with Western Property Consultants Pty Ltd. Given the comments made by the Auditor General in that report, can the Minister advise the House about the anticipated outcome of the Western Property arrangement for 2001-02, and the nature of the arrangement with Western Property to which the minister has agreed? Hon TOM STEPHENS

I have not previously had drawn to my attention, so far as I can recall, the reference of the Auditor General to which the member refers, and its direct impact on the Western Property facility management proposals spoken of by the previous Government and launched by me in government. I will take that question on notice and respond to the member in due course.
