I am pleased to get the call after the answer to that last question. The Treasurer should be aware that the Port Hedland magistrate was recently transferred at extremely short notice to Kalgoorlie. In his capacity as the chairman of the cabinet expenditure review committee, I ask him to report to this House on - (1) The full cost of the transfer, including the total cost of having a fly in, fly out magistrate service to Port Hedland versus the same arrangements for Kalgoorlie. (2) The full details of why the now visiting magistrate to Port Hedland stays in a motel while the vacant house of the previous magistrate remains empty. (3) The full justification for the change, including the reason it was required at such short notice. Mr E.S. RIPPER

These matters fall within the portfolio responsibilities of my friend and colleague the Attorney General. Therefore, the request should be directed to him.
