For what purpose has the twenty-first floor at 197 St Georges Terrace, Perth, been used since 2001? Hon KIM CHANCE

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable Leader of the Opposition for some notice of this question. From 2001 to 30 June 2005 the twenty-first floor was privately tenanted. Since 1 July 2005, the department has utilised the floor with various functions including the Office of Science and Innovation and other departmental functions. Currently, the twenty-first floor space is occupied by the Minister for Education and Training, the department’s accountability support unit, some elements of the department’s corporate support function and an officer coordinating a public sector oral history project.
