LOT 3 STOCKYARD ROAD,
YATHROO — CONTROLLED BURN
985. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Minister for Environment:
I
refer to lot 3 Stockyard Road, Yathroo—lot 3 on deposited plan 60276—which
was controlled burned in May 2015 by the owners, who in August this year
received from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation a notice of
intention to give a vegetation conservation notice for that lot.
(1) Did the Shire
of Dandaragan issue any orders to the landowners to control burn vegetation on
lot 3 during 2015 to reduce fire risk?
(2) If yes to (2), in what form and
when were they issued?
(3) What notice
has the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation taken of any such
notice in proposing action on the burn?
(4) What
threatened ecological community, endangered species or environmental asset was
risked or damaged by this controlled burn?
