(a) Western Australia Police advises that due to operational sensitivities, specific information relating to staffing levels of individual police stations is not released. Resources are principally allocated at a District level and District Superintendents deploy these resources within their District to provide the best possible policing service to meet operational requirements and the varying needs of the community. The numbers of FTE will be the same as was deployed in Dumbleyung, Cranbrook and Wickepin prior to the re-alignment of police stations.
(b) $2 million per annum has been allocated by Government to recommence operations at these police stations.
(c) A precise breakdown of costs cannot be provided at this stage. The allocated funding will be used to re-instate the police station for operational readiness and will include fixed assets, equipment and other required resources.
(d) The FTEs will be sourced from within the Great Southern District's FTE allocation.
(e) See answers to question (a) and (d).
